Bouygues starts new residential scheme

Work is set to start this month on a 243-home mixed-use development at Barking's Creative Industries Quarter.

Creative Industries Quarter: new resi scheme by Bouygues Development

Bouygues Development said the £40 million Abbey Road scheme – by Cartwright Pickard Architects and now scheduled for completion in March 2014 – would “change the image of the quarter”.

The two-phase development will see the construction of some 1,800sq m of creative and retail space, as well as the 243 homes.
