Tesco: recruiting for new Beam Reach facility

Barking & Dagenham Council said the development was “a great opportunity” for borough residents to find new work.

Its employment and skills group arranged a series of recruitment briefings on the vacancies by Job Centre Plus at the Barking Learning Centre at the beginning of April.

Regeneration lead councillor Cameron Geddes said advice would be available to help residents maximise their chances of getting one of the new jobs.

“Council staff from the employment and skills group will continue to work closely with their colleagues in Job Centre Plus to ensure our residents have the skills to be able to take advantage of these opportunities,” he said.
