By James Renoux-Wood - Thu 18 September 2014, 11:45 am

Work to expand a primary school in Dagenham has been completed in time for the new academic year.

Jerram Falkus Construction finished the work in August 2014, allowing for a total of 60 available places at the John Perry primary school, plus space for 52 nursery students.

The project involved the expansion of classroom sizes and building of a two-storey block to the west of the site, which includes three classrooms and an ICT room on the ground floor and four classrooms on the first floor.

Other additions include two “group areas”, toilets, a teacher’s room, a deputy head teacher’s office and a storeroom.
