Borough business rewarded

The East London Chamber of Commerce Business Awards has recognised seven Barking and Dagenham companies at an award ceremony in central London.

Stoneglow Candles, which won Business of the Year

Among the Barking businesses to win awards were Stoneglow Candles, based in Dagenham, which picked up the award for overall Business of the Year and go-karting company Capital Karts, based in Barking, which was named New Business of the Year.

The ceremony took place at The Tower hotel, near Tower Bridge on 11 March.
