Glasses will be raised at Sanofi site

Tue 19 May 2015, 3:54 pm

A restaurant and pub will open on the site of the former Sanofi manufacturing plant this summer.

The Pipe Major will be owned by Martson’s, and is due to cater for up to 180 diners as well as creating 45 jobs.

It will add to the chain’s 2,100 pubs and bars across the country, and will join the borough’s science and business park, londoneast-uk at the site, which opened last November.

The site was recently used as a location for ITV drama, Code of a killler, starring David Threlfall and John Simm.
