A facility offering vocational training is to open on Parsloes Avenue in Dagenham.
The adult college at Sydney Russell School will be ready for the new academic year. It has been developed by Jerram Falkus Construction and is part of the company’s £4.5 million project to remodel, refurbish and expand facilities across the school’s Parsloes Avenue and Fanshawe Crescent sites.
The structure was built using a modular method: 34 modules were delivered and erected on-site over a five-day period.
The modules are now being clad externally and fitted out internally and will be ready to host students in the 2016-17 academic year.
