Nearly all units at Weston Homes' River Roding development in Barking have been sold, with just one two-bedroom apartment remaining.

Going fast: Rivermill Lofts

Rivermill Lofts comprises 118 one or two-bedroom apartments within two buildings, The Walbrooke and The Stamford.

The last apartment is located on the sixth floor of The Walbrooke, costing £370,000.

The apartments are a short walk away from Barking underground station, with direct trains to the Fenchurch Street Station taking 20 minutes.

Bob Weston, chairman and chief executive of Weston Homes praised Barking’s location and transport links: "Barking is a rapidly evolving area, which is benefitting hugely from the ripples of redevelopment that have spread from central London in recent years.

"Not only is it a short distance from the City of London and a town-centre destination in its own right, a short trip eastwards leads to the rolling Essex countryside; residents can even reach the beach at Southend in under 40 minutes."
