Property management company Glenny has been appointed as a consultant on a new development at an industrial site in Barking.
Glenny will provide advice to London-based developer Newable Properties on the letting of eight new light industrial units, at Peak Works on Alfreds Way.
The warehouse units range from 251sq m to 632sq m in size, and are located on the southern side of the A13 at the Lodge Avenue Roundabout.
Chartered surveyors Glenny was appointed by former owners, laboratory equipment suppliers Poulten & Graf, on the sale of the 0.6-ha site last year.
They have been kept on by the purchaser, Newable Properties, to lease the proposed industrial units, for which a planning application is due to be submitted for the new scheme.
Peter Higgins, divisional partner at Glenny, said: “This is a great opportunity to bring forward a new prime light industrial-warehouse development and we are pleased to have been retained to advise on the subsequent units, which have already received a significant amount of interest from potential occupiers.”
